We have a special guest on this episode: John Shepherd, the star of the 1985 horror classic Friday the 13th Part 5 A New Beginning John was a serious young actor who couldn't have been more excited when his agent sent him on an audition for an upcoming Paramount Picture. He wasn't given the script, only some sides, and went through a number of callbacks before he discovered it was a Friday the 13th picture. There were two things he said he would never do as an actor: Slasher films and cheesy Christian films. Listen to how his appearance in this film led to his other no-no, and eventually an outstanding career as a producer.
