Here's two more exciting ZOOM editions of the Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Podcast, a lively discussion of the movies that sometimes devolves into a group therapy session.
This week we feed John's obsession with Indian superstar Aamir Khan with the 2007 film Like Stars On Earth (Taare Zemeen Par), which was also co-directed by Khan. In this film, Khan plays an art teacher who discovers that a troubled student is suffering from dyslexia. It is indeed a heartwarming film guaranteed to touch (almost) any heart. Check out our review.
This week we are also starting a new series inspired by Chris Coker called Cage Matches, where we examine competing Hollywood films on the same subject. Our first match will be between two competing animation projects from 1998 about the life of ants. We have Antz, starring alleged sexual predator Woody Allen, and A Bug's Life, starring alleged sexual predator Kevin Spacey. Which one was better? Watch and find out.
