Here's another COVID free ZOOM edition of the Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Podcast, a lively discussion of the movies that sometimes devolves into a group therapy session.
On this special episode we were joined by my son-in-law, former Kansas City Chief Defensive End Eric Hicks. A University of Maryland graduate, Eric played professional football for ten years: nine years with the Chiefs and one year with the New York Jets. We were recently together watching his son Rocco play football at Bowling Green and I asked Eric what film best captured his experiences in the NFL. He said it was the 1999 Oliver Stone film Any Given Sunday, starring Al Pacino and Jamie Foxx. During our discussion, Eric gives us an inside look at the NFL, and John Quattrucci lets us see how deep his man crush on Tom Brady goes. This is a great episode. Be sure to check it out.
