Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Podcast #19: The Princess Bride

On this episode of the Yippee-Ki-Yay Mother Podcast, a multi-generational look at the movies, we officially welcome Michele Wojciechowski (Wojo) as an official member. Okay, okay, I know what you're thinking: What's the big deal?  She's already been on more than half of your episodes anyway. Well, it is a big deal. Now Wojo is eligible for the Yippee Ki Yay Mother Healthplan, stock options and, of course, our matching 401k. I know she wrote a book The Next Time I Move, They'll Carry Me Out In A Box, but I see a Hollywood mansion in her future with our accumulated podcast millions.

To celebrate her arrival, we let Wojo picked one of her personal favorites, Rob Reiner's 1987 belated classic The Princess Bride, written by one of my all time favorite screenwriters, the late William Goldman. Not only does she love the movie, she was also commissioned by Vanity Fair to take a deep dive into the famous sword fight scene and interviewed all of the people involved. You can read the article here:  How The Princess Bride Built Film's Most Beloved Sword Fight. Get all of her amazing insights on this week's podcast. If you haven't been listening, this is a great place to start.
